Soccerdiles Unite

Welcome back Soccerdiles (and parentdiles). I would especially like to welcome our new teammate, David Landis. Glad to have you join the team.

We are officially practicing Tuesdays, 5:30 to 6:15 at Columbia Seminary. This is the same field we practiced at last season. There is a trick to finding it that I will share with anyone who has not been there before. We will start practicing next Tuesday. I would like to apologize I did not get things together to start this week.  I would like to throw out the possibility of a Saturday morning practice this week (to catch up and get used to playing on Saturdays) if anyone would be interested.

The game schedule has not been posted yet, but our first game will be March 10.

Early registration for spring soccer is open. Register before January 22 and save $15.

Here is the link for online registration.

Regular registration will begin January 22 and last until February 12.

I will be coaching in the spring along with the help of Coach Austin. Don’t forget to ask to be on Coach Terrance’s team during registration. Let me know if you have any questions. Also, if you notice that someone is missing from this email, please feel free to forward .

Soccer Expo coming to ATL

Hey there soccer people,

Thought you two would like to hear about the Soccer Expo coming.  As you'll see below, there are sessions re: coaching U6 and u8 teams (and higher)... exhibitors of all levels... it's all FREE, since we are members of Georgia Soccer through our clubs.  Spread the word!  Look forward to seeing you there!

Thought we wished to have it earlier, It will probably be much warmer -- at least for the fans!

Sorry folks, I am going to have to cancel practice tonight. Unfortunately I am have to stick around work until 5:45 today and Austin is sick today.  This might just be a blessing (the catalyst to cancel practice, not Austin’s illness) as I kept an eye on when it got too dark to play Sunday and by my account it was too dark by 5:55 pm. That would have only given us 25 minutes.

 

Sorry for the late notice. See you Saturday. Speaking of, I put an email into the Commish about possibly moving our 1:00 pm game to 9:00 am. Would that work for everyone if we can arrange it?
