I am looking for a volunteer to lead the Soccerdiles to victory (or at least on to the field) for the March 24th game. Unfortunately I will be at a conference (and actually presenting at that exact same time as the game). If you have secretly been waiting to usurp me as coach, then this is your opportunity.
In all honesty, it is fun, painless, and flies by.

As many of you received the field alert last night, the Columbia soccer fields were closed around 5:45 (15 minutes after our practice began). We did get a couple of wet minutes in before heavy rains chased us away.
Since we didn’t get a true practice in this week I wanted to remind everyone that our game on Saturday will be at 9:00 and we will be wearing white again. We also need a volunteer for snacks this week (unless it was already decided among the parents during the game). If you are interested in volunteering (or have already done so), please let me know.
Our long awaited first practice is tomorrow (Tuesday) at 5:30. We will practicing at the Columbia Theological Seminary Field. You can park in their library lot -- http://www.ctsnet.edu/Library/Directions.aspx -- or on Inman Drive and follow the path to the field –my gold Forrester will parked near the path entrance if you need a marker.
