Pizza Tuesday

Hi Soccerdiles team,

As we discussed with many of you on Saturday, we’d like to do our end of the season celebration this Tuesday (May 1^st) immediately following practice. 

We’ve been in  contact with MoJo Pizza and they can accommodate us, arriving between 6:30 – 6:45.   Terrance will make sure practice is done on time, and I’ll pre-order pizzas, so if I can get a general sense of how many people will be joining us by end of day on Monday, that will be helpful in placing our order.   I should be able to let you know tomorrow what the per family fee is.

Looking forward to celebrating with you all on another great season and thanks for the extra time on Saturday.  The boys played 2 great games.

Double-header Tomorrow

Late breaking news:

 

Tomorrow we have a double header 11:00 and 12:30. If you cannot make both games I completely understand. The Commish wanted to make up the for the game that did not happen last week and unfortunately this was her only option this late in the season,

Again, if you can only make the 11:00 as originally scheduled that is fine, but if you can make both that is great.

Coaches,

First, I want to apologize for all the schedule changes this season.  I allowed an outside team to come into our league after the season started and then the team fell apart their first week. So the new team, DeKalb County is no longer playing after we added them into the schedule.  So I have gone back into the schedule and changed it again. Please go and look at the schedule changes then email me confirmation that you have all the changes.  Main changes:

 

1.  This weekend Sat, April 28th, Soccerdiles will play a double header - original game at 11 am then they will play at 12:30 pm game vs. ICS.  (ICS - please note time change!)

 

2.  Blue Rhinos 1 will have a bye on Sat, May 5th

 

3.  Blue Rhinos 1 & Pirates will now play on Sat, May 12th at 11 am.

 

Thank you all for your understanding and patience with the schedule changes this season.

 

1:00 Game and Picture Day this Week

Sorry, there was no practice yesterday. It really did not rain that much in Decatur (a little thunder though). Unfortunately when you play on borrowed fields the league errors on the side of not causing damage to the fields.

 

Regardless, we still have a 1:00 game this week (weather permitting) and team pictures will be at 12:30.  Please plan on being at the fields at 12:30.

We Are Back

Just a reminder that after what seemed to be a very long hiatus, the Soccerdiles are back.  We have practice tonight at our regular time (5:30) and regular location (Columbia fields). I am looking forward to seeing everyone.
