Spring soccer registration going on NOW

Happy new Year. I realize that it is difficult to imagine playing soccer outside but spring soccer registration going on NOW! When you register just mention that you wish to play on the Soccerdiles or with Coach Terrance Manion.

Registration for Spring Soccer now-until January 24th either online at www.quickscores.com/ddymca or in person at the YMCA registration desk.

Late registration is January 26th- February 1,2010 at the YMCA membership desk only. A late fee of $15.00 will be assessed to all late registrations.

Practice Time

Considering we turned the clocks back this weekend and it's getting dark even earlier, would we be interested in starting earlier than our 6:15 practice time, (say 5:45)?

If there is interest I will look into securing the practice field for a half hour earlier.

WPE is closed due to water on the field. If you are on the way stop by our house (894 Derrydown Way) for a scrimmage in the backyard. Google map.

Soccerdiles Beat Parentdiles

The Soccerdiles won our inaugural kids v. parents game. I hope everyone enjoyed themselves. We have practice this Tuesday at the Columbia Theology field. See you then and keep working on your passing.

Scrimmage at Columbia @ 10:10

Tomorrow let's meet at the Columbia Theology College field (that we practice on) @ 10:10 and scrimmage as we originally planned. This is optional, so don't feel you have to come, but the more the merrier. If we do not have enough kids, It might be parents against kids so wear athletic clothes.

As luck would have it, This weekend is also team pictures. I spoke (actually exchanged emails) with the commish and we can have our pictures done this weekend at Winnona Elementary (if we are all there of have them done) @ 12:30 or we can make arrangement. I eamiled the parents a greeting by the company that will be doing the photos and their price list.

We can discuss at the scrimmage if we want to head over to Winnona and have the photos done this weekend.
