Saturday Scrimmage Cancelled

Unfortunately we were unable to secure a field for a Soccerdile v. Parentdile game on Saturday. Keep the kids dribbling and we will have practice on Tuesday.

Practice and Game Schedule

A number of our kids attend schools that are on a balanced schedule. As luck would have it they are off this week for fall break and several are traveling. Nonetheless I would still like to host what will turn out to be a small practice for those that are still around. I want to do this because the soccer schedule is out and our first game is this Saturday at 12:00. We will be playing at the Westchester School field located on Scott Blvd.

If you have not already picked up the new DD YMCA soccer uniform, please do so this week. Just take your registration receipt to Krown Sports located near Your Dekalb Farmers’ Market.

The Columbia Seminary Soccer Fields are closed.  We will try again next week.

Soccerdiles Practice Tomorrow

Our first practice is this Tuesday at 6:00. We will be practicing at Columbia Theological Seminary on their "big field". This is not the same field we have practiced on in past seasons, but close. You can access the field by either parking on Inman Dr. and walking through the trees to the field or parking behind the library (also accessible from Inman).

Welcome to our new teammates including the fighting Silver Comet boys (as this is the first year that the league is no longer coed Coach Eshan and myself arranged to keep our boys and girls together—my girls joined the Silver Comets and his boys joined the Soccerdiles).

I will have more information shortly about practice time, uniforms, and hopefully a schedule, but considering the short notice this week I am not planning to host a practice Tuesday.
